Who is your guide?

I have participated in a lot of guided-tours on different continents in absolutely different cultural surroundings.

What I may promise is to give you the same what I have always looked for: attention and information.

Why did I decide on serving tourists visiting Budapest? Because of three reasons:

  • No. 1. I was born in this town, have lived half of my life so far in Buda and the other half in Pest.
  • No. 2. I have been employed in service management at multinational companies for almost two decades in Hungary and its capital city. It was a great experience, but now I have a new boss: You, my client.
  • No. 3. Tourists usually only have a short time with a normally high expectation to receive quality they pay for. Their positive feedback encourages me for the next tour whilst any development idea takes me ahead for further challenges. Sharing useful information is not only important but at the same time fun for me. I felt the same graduating as a teacher not much after the radical political changes in Hungary in the end of the last century: smiling faces are exact measurements for knowing if I am on the right path!

In august 2019 we had a wonderful day with our very good English speaking tour guide. We were driven to some of the wonderful highlights of Budapest where our tour-guide gave us all the information we needed to know. There was some flexibility in where we wanted to go, that was super! Our dog could come with us and that was a great bonus! We really had a wonderful experience. Next time mytownbudapest.com will arrange our airport transfer too. It has proven reliably, it is friendly and not expensive.
